Author Guidelines

  • Turquoise International Journal of Educational Research and Social Studies (TIJER) is an internationally recognized double-blind peer-reviewed electronic journal.
  • Authors are supposed to the manuscripts according to the guidelines of the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (5th Ed). 
  • Manuscript length should be 6 to 18 pages and, before submission, the articles are to be in the form of Microsoft word 2000/2003(doc) or Microsoft word 2007/2010(docx). 
  • TIJER can exceptionally accept shorter or longer manuscripts provided that the scientific content is of high value. All submitted manuscripts must include:
  1.  Title: Make sure that the title is specific and concise. (Arial Narrow/14)
  2. Subtitles (Arial Narrow/12)
  3. Authors, their affiliations and email addresses: The full names and affiliations of all the authors should be provided. Affiliations should include university or organization, city, and country. One of the authors should be designated as the corresponding author, and their email address needs to be included. (Arial Narrow/11)
  4. Abstract: The abstract should not exceed 400 words and briefly introduce the manuscript, with no citations.
  5. Keywords: At least 3 keywords or phrases should be included and must be separated by commas. (Arial Narrow/11)
  6. Introduction:  The introduction should provide a context for the manuscript, mainly the importance of the study, the aim or the problem. (Arial Narrow/12)
  7. Main body: The main body part should include the main proposed ideas, methodology, results and discussion.
  8. Conclusion: A summary of the paper's findings in terms of their importance, discussion of the data and recommendations further research can be provided in this section. The main objective is to provide an effective closure for the manuscript in such a way as to leave the reader with the feeling satisfied that the concepts, findings and ideas have been fully explained.
  9. Acknowledgments:  The authors are free to decide whether to include acknowledgments or not. If the decide to include this part, they can include the names of people, other than the authors,  who in some way contributed to the work or they can also include information about funding sources for the work.
  10. References: References should be given in the text and in this section in APA Style. (Arial Narrow/11)

In addition, the author/s are also assumed to grant the copyright to Turquoise International Journal of Educational Research and Social Studies (TIJER).
